Dev Patel & Freida Pinto Dating Each Other
Rohan Antao blames Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire for the reported romance between Freida and her co-star Dev Patel, six years her junior.
“She ended it with me after getting close to Dev Patel. Now everywhere I go I see them on billboards. I am devastated,” the 24-year-old Antao said.
About the Oscar-winning movie, he stated, “I hate the film. It wrecked my relationship. As soon as it became a success and Freida started spending all her time with Dev, she ended it,” he added.
Antao, a Mumbai-based marketing executive, said the two met six years ago. He proposed to her in 2007, but Slumdog Millionare changed their life.
“The film bosses didn’t want her to be engaged. It would affect the whole emphasis of the film the love story. I had no say in it.”
Kareena & Farhan To Act Together
The Rock On Guy and the Tashan babe are all set to scorch the big screen as they have been signed by Sudhir Mishra to play the leads in his next flick.
The film will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s company and deals with the political angle in the relationship between a man and a woman.
Farhan says, “I’m looking forward to working with Kareena. She’s been a friend for many years. This script gives both of us a chance to try something we haven’t done before. We are in the process of finalising the deal.”
Slumdog Millionaire Bags 8 Oscars Awards
Slumdog Millionaire continues to spread its magic at the 81st Academy Awards night by winning 8 awards. A.R. Rahman has now become the only music director from India to have won two Oscars. Here is the full list of winners of Slumdog Millionaire.

Anushka Sharma As Judge
With IPL round the corner, its time once again for various franchisees to create maximum awareness about their respective teams, and keeping this in mind, Shah Rukh Khan (who owns Kolkata Knight Riders) has come up with the idea of a unique T.V. reality show called ‘ Knights and Angels’.
This much-awaited reality dance show will trace the hunt for 6 spirited and talented girls to lead the Cheer-leaders Squad of the Kolkata Knight Riders. Adding his final stamp of authority, would be judge Sourav Ganguly the inimitable icon of Indian cricket and captain of Kolkata Knight Riders. The show will be hosted by V.J. turned actor Purab Kohli and the pretty Anushka Sharma (who made a stunning debut opposite SRK in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi) will be seen as the special celebrity judge in the first episode.
Sushmita Sen’s “Rani Laxmi Bai” Shelved ?
Sushmita Sen is planning to go in for a co-production of the dream project the mega budgeted historical war epic Rani Laxmi Bai with legendary filmmaker Manmohan Desai sharing the humongous Rs. 130 crore budget.
The film was to be shot on location in Madhya Pradesh and also a huge set was being planned to be erected at Mumbai’s Filmcity. With recession creeping in most of Bollywood’s big projects have either been kept on hold or postponed indefinitely or shelved.
Pressing aside rumors, Sushmita’s spokesperson states, “It is false news that the film has been shelved. It is in fact been put on hold because of the credit crunch. Sushmita is still busy working on the research aspect of the movie.”

Aishwarya turns international villain
The buzz is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s not just a hanger-on in the international film ‘Pink Panther 2’. The latest is that Ash doesn’t really have two minutes of screen space as rumored earlier.
The buzz the movie would be incomplete without her role as the actress is apparently playing the main villain in the movie.A source close to the unit of the movie has apparently said, “She is actually the one who steals the Pink Panther diamond, and in the end, Steve Martin finds out.”
The role that Ash plays is that of Sonia Solandres, a criminology expert, in the film and she’s a part of the team of detectives who are trying to find the Pink Panther diamond.But reportedly towards the end, Inspector Clouseau figures out that Sonia, played by Ash, is the real culprit and no criminology expert.
Priyanka breaks her silence on Shahid Kapoor
Priyanka who has been quiet about her private interactions with Shahid Kapoor on Facebook until now, calls it, “a clear and brutal invasion of privacy.”
Priyanka rationalises, “My brother Siddharth clued me in to Facebook. Almost everyone I know, is on the site.
If a couple of those conversations are picked on, what can I do?” However she says she isn’t affected by rumours of link-ups with Shahid, “I’m not here to live up to anyone’s expectations.
Because then I’m constantly conscious of what I’m doing. And that takes away from the honesty of my job. I’d much rather live up to my own expectations.

Ranbir Kapoor wants Deepika to get a new stylist
Rumour has it that Ranbir Kapoor’s quite upset these days. Apparently girlfriend Deepika Padukone has been getting the flak for her sense of style these days.
I am told that Ranbir is very keen that Deepika get a new stylist for her!
Umm… I wouldn’t be so hard on the girl. But I do remember an Indian Idol episode where it seemed like she was actually pregnant!
Surely Ranbir is quite a style icon. And I’d say it’s fair to expect your girlfriend to be one too. But c’mon Ranbir give her a break. She’s bound to figure out her wardrobe.
